This week, Jamie asks wishcasters, where do you wish to travel ~ I love this question! My answer follows directly from last week's wishcasting post.
I wish to travel back to Europe, and this time explore the continent. We'll start in Amsterdam, and then? I wish to visit France ~ the rows upon rows of graves marked with white crosses; Canada's WWI monument in Vimy; Versailles; the Louvre; Chartres; Cannes; Notre Dame Cathedral; and, who knows where else? Italy ~ all over, particularly Tuscany, Pisa, Rome (Vatican City - especially here and here), and maybe Venice. Austria, Spain, Greece, and Switzerland (once more).
I also wish to travel to Turkey ~ the city once known as Constantinople, particularly the Hagia Sophia. Scandinavia. Perhaps Russia? (The Trans-Siberian trip). Morbid though it may seem, I also wish to visit Auschwitz, to experience the carcass of that concentration camp. I feel obliged, as a human, to honour the suffering of the Shoah by visiting the hallowed ground where so many suffered and died.
That's where I wish to travel - just on the continent of Europe. I've not even mentioned all the places I wish to visit in the UK! And -- wouldn't Iceland be interesting? Of course, I wish to travel beyond those confines ~ all in good time. But, really, inside my heart of hearts, I wish to travel to wherever my Pilot happens to find himself. Because he has my heart, I shall call him home.

Thank you very much for this much needed "escape" and if only in thoughts; for me it would be probably Prague, where I would like to make a living as a window cleaner, with a lovely wife and familie.
